First-touch, not last-click
The first tracked link or hosted-page visit wins the attribution. A visitor who leaves and comes back later, or applies from a different device, still counts as yours if that first touch was through you.
No cookie-only tracking to lose
Attribution is recorded against your partner account at the point of contact, not stored purely in a browser cookie that ad blockers or a cleared cache can wipe out.

Will this cost my audience anything?
No. Standard referrals carry no added cost for the business owner. You are not marking anything up; you are earning a share of what Capvant already charges the lender side.
What happens to my audience once they click through?
They land on a page carrying your attribution, apply in about a minute, and go through the same qualification and consented introduction every referral gets. Nothing about the experience is degraded because it arrived through a partner link.
Will they get spammed?
No. Consent covers the introduction to matching lenders for their funding request; it is not a list sale, and Capvant does not use referral contact details for unrelated marketing.
What happens to referral and payout data?
Your partner portal shows your own referrals, statuses and payout history. Client contact and underwriting detail belongs to the deal, not to your dashboard view.

Who can join as a referral partner?
Affiliates, newsletters, communities, business coaches, agencies and comparison sites reaching business owners. Joining is free and there is no minimum volume.
How is commission calculated?
A share of Capvant’s lending commission on each funded referral: 10% at Bronze, 15% at Silver and 20% at Gold. Tiers are set by funded deals over the trailing 12 months and upgrade automatically. There is nothing to negotiate and no cap.
When do I actually get paid?
Commission is attributed per referral and becomes payable once the deal funds. Statements, funded amounts and payout history sit in your partner portal.
How is my traffic attributed?
Through your tracked link or hosted page, recorded per referral on a first-touch basis. Attribution does not depend on the visitor mentioning your name or clicking through in the same session.
What does the visitor experience?
They land on a Capvant-hosted page carrying your link, apply in about a minute, and Capvant runs Companies House verification, the Capvant Check (our automated funding assessment) and the consented introduction to matching lenders.
Can I use a comparison table or embed?
Yes, a card widget, banner or iframe can sit inside your own comparison content, in addition to a plain link.
Does sending referrals cost my audience anything?
No. Standard referrals carry no added cost for the business owner; your commission comes from Capvant’s own lending commission, not a markup on the client.
Do I need a minimum volume to stay a partner?
No. There is no minimum to join and no obligation to send a set volume to keep your account active.
Can an agency or coach refer clients on their behalf?
Yes. Send the client your link or add them directly in your portal; either way the referral and any resulting commission attribute to your account.
What if I want to talk it through first?
Email partners@capvant.com and describe your audience and preferred placement. Most partners are still better served by the two-step signup, which takes under a minute.
