Who this is for

The deal that stalls on financing

An acquisition or refinancing is otherwise ready to complete except for the buyer-side funding piece.

The client who needs bridge finance mid-transaction

Completion timing and cash timing do not line up, and the gap needs a fast, structured answer.

The valuation that surfaces a funding gap

Diligence or survey work turns up a business that could use working capital or asset finance before or after a sale.

The firm that wants deal flow protected

You do not want a client shopping outside your relationship for the funding piece of a transaction you are already running.

What the programme gives your firm

Earn

A share of Capvant’s lending commission on every funded referral. Uncapped, tiered by volume, and tracked per referral against a unique reference.

Serve

A funding lane that keeps transactions moving: acquisition finance, bridging, asset-backed and working capital through one referral, with no added cost to the client on standard referrals.

Grow

Fundability insight before the process starts: check whether the buyer side can carry the deal while it is still cheap to know.

How it works

1

Refer in minutes

Share your referral link or add the company in your partner portal, tied to a unique deal reference. The application takes about a minute to start.

2

We qualify against the panel

Companies House verification and the Capvant Check, our automated funding assessment, run against the referral and match it to the lenders whose criteria it actually fits.

3

A consented introduction goes out

The client is introduced to the matching lenders only once they have agreed. Calls usually arrive within one working day and online offers within two.

4

You stay the transaction lead

Live status on every referred deal in your portal, from introduction to funded. You run the transaction; Capvant arranges the funding and nothing else.

5

Commission lands on the same reference

Once a deal funds, commission is attributed to your account against the deal reference you started with. Nothing to invoice, nothing to chase.

Your partner toolkit

Client Radar, fundability reports and advisory letters run off UK Companies House data and are available to UK partners. Pre-qualification links and live status work in every market.

Client Radar

Check a target or buyer’s Business Credit Score before a process starts, using Companies House filings, so financing risk is visible while it is still cheap to know.

Fundability Reports

Generate a clean, branded report on a target or buyer in a click: score, signals, filing timeline and recommended next steps.

Advisory Letters

Turn a report into a plain-English letter on funding position, sent under your name, useful in a data room or an early client conversation.

Pre-qual Links

A tracked link so a client pre-qualifies before they ever speak to a lender, with no impact on their credit score.

Live Deal Status

Submission status, offer terms and outcome, updated the moment a lender replies, all against your deal reference.

Commission Statements

Funded amounts, your commission tier and payout history, all in one place, with nothing to invoice.

The commission model

A share of Capvant’s lending commission on each funded referral. Tiers are set by funded deals over the trailing 12 months and upgrade automatically. Nothing to negotiate, no cap, and identical across every edition of the programme.

What partners ask before joining

The questions that come up in the first conversation, answered plainly.

Who owns the transaction?

You do, throughout. Capvant arranges the funding only, on a reference tied to your deal; the transaction lead role stays entirely yours.

Will Capvant contact my client directly about anything else?

No. Capvant runs the funding introduction on the referral you make and nothing beyond it. There is no outreach outside that reference.

What happens to deal or client data?

Information is used to run the qualification and the consented lender introduction against your deal reference, nothing else.

What if the deal falls through?

There is no cost to you or your client on a standard referral that does not complete, and it has no bearing on the underlying transaction.

Deal adviser partner FAQs

Who can join as a deal adviser partner?

M&A advisers, brokers, solicitors and surveyors keeping transactions moving. Joining is free and there is no minimum volume.

How is commission calculated?

A share of Capvant’s lending commission on each funded referral: 10% at Bronze, 15% at Silver and 20% at Gold. Tiers are set by funded deals over the trailing 12 months and upgrade automatically.

Does Capvant take over the transaction?

No. You stay the transaction lead throughout; Capvant arranges the funding only, on a reference tied to your deal.

How is the company or buyer verified?

Capvant runs Companies House verification and the Capvant Check (our automated funding assessment) against the referral, and the consented introduction to matching lenders follows the same reference throughout.

What if the requirement is large or structured?

Larger, structured requirements are handled separately as bespoke mandates rather than automated matching. Refer them the same way and we set up the right conversation.

When do I get paid?

Commission is attributed per referral and becomes payable once the deal funds. Statements, funded amounts and payout history sit in your partner portal.

How fast do referrals move?

Calls usually start within one working day and online offers within two. Timing varies with the amount and how complete the information is, which matters most when a completion date is fixed.

Can I use this alongside my own funding relationships?

Yes. Refer through Capvant when your own contacts are not the right fit or when speed to a wider panel matters more than a single relationship.
