Documents come in at the point you decide to proceed with a funder, because that funder has to verify what they quoted on. The typical ask is recent business bank statements, and depending on the product and amount it can extend to filed accounts, VAT returns or an aged debtor ledger.
Two practical notes:
- PDF statements straight from your bank are cleaner than screenshots or spreadsheet exports, and they get read faster.
- Where a funder offers a read-only bank connection instead of manual uploads, it is read-only. It permits them to see transaction history, never to move money.
You are never obliged to upload anything. Declining simply means that funder cannot complete their assessment, and you can stop there.
