For lenders

Pre-qualified SME funding demand, matched to your criteria.

We originate business-funding demand at scale through our own marketplace brands, qualify it in a structured funnel, and route each request to the funding partners it actually fits. You receive consented, referenced referrals over the channel your team already uses.

What you receive

Verified demand, not raw enquiries

Every referral is captured on our own properties, qualified in a structured funnel and matched to your published criteria before release. No bought lists, ever.

One structured referral per deal

Business, funding requirement, contact details, consent record and documents in a fixed field order, machine-readable if you want to parse it, with a unique reference per deal.

Documents without the chase

Bank statements arrive attached where already uploaded, and follow automatically when the client uploads later. Request anything else with one click; it comes back against the reference.

Statuses that route more flow to you

A one-word reply (offer made, in review, declined with reason, funded) is recorded automatically. Lenders who convert well see materially more flow.

What a referral looks like

One structured record per deal, in a fixed field order, with a unique reference that carries through every reply, Hub entry and API call.

Business

Legal name, Companies House number, entity type, industry and incorporation date, with live company status carried on the record.

Funding requirement

Amount, product type and purpose, so the referral only reaches lenders whose published criteria it already matches.

Contact

Applying director or owner, role, phone and email, ready for your team to open the conversation directly.

Consent record

The consent the client gave for the introduction, attached to the reference so there is no ambiguity about what they agreed to.

Documents, where already uploaded

Bank statements and any other files the client has already supplied arrive attached; anything else can be requested with one click and comes back against the same reference.

Unique deal reference

One reference per deal, carried through every email, Hub entry and API call, so a status update or a document always lands on the right file.

Integration on your terms

One counterparty and one agreement, however many of our marketplace brands a deal arrives from. We adapt to your stack; there is no portal your team is forced into.

Email

A standardised referral to your intake inbox. Your team simply replies in-thread with one word (received, in review, offer made, declined with reason, funded) and our system reads statuses, terms and questions automatically. Most panel teams start here, and it works from a phone mid-call.

Lender Hub

The same one-click statuses at capvant.com/lender, plus a live deal list, self-served buy-box, offer entry for your underwriting team, and every client conversation as a thread. Purely optional; email-only teams lose nothing by skipping it.

API v1

Direct submission into your lead or application API, mapped to your schema, sandbox first, then production. Documents push through your document endpoints as the client uploads. Full reference, authentication and a test-deals sandbox at developers.capvant.com.

Webhook

A signed JSON payload to an endpoint you specify, full lead record plus reference, automatic retries. A minimal receiver is enough to go live within days, and the same signature scheme is documented at developers.capvant.com.

Statuses drive the flow you see

Every status you give, by reply or in the Hub, feeds routing between matching lenders: funded-conversion, speed to first contact and offer, and offer take-up all count. Lenders who convert well see materially more flow, and a short decline reason sharpens our matching against your buy-box so near-miss deals stop reaching your lane.

Before you commit engineering time

Is there a minimum volume commitment?

No, in either direction. Flow depends on how broad your buy-box is and how your lane converts, and there is no obligation attached to joining the panel or staying on it.

What happens to a deal we decline?

A decline with a short reason is recorded against the reference and nothing else. A structured reason sharpens our matching, so your lane sees fewer near-miss deals over time rather than more.

Do we see anything about a client before we need to?

You receive the structured referral, its documents and consent record, no more and no less. There is no separate scoring or verification layer to interpret beyond what is on the reference itself.

How much of our process has to change?

None of it has to. Email works on day one with a single sender whitelisted, and the Hub and API exist for teams that want tighter integration. We build around your stack, not the other way round.

Lender partnership FAQs

Is there a minimum volume commitment?

No, in either direction. Flow depends on how broad your buy-box is and how your lane converts; there is no obligation attached to joining the panel.

What does it cost?

Nothing to join. We are funder-paid on standard panel flow, with the structure agreed per lane, typically a share of the funded amount or an ongoing revenue share.

Which borrowers do you introduce?

Operating businesses for business-purpose finance, matched against your published criteria before release. In the UK we introduce incorporated businesses only, verified against the live Companies House register.

How do we update you on a deal?

However your team prefers: reply to the referral email with a word, click a status in the optional Lender Hub, or push it programmatically. Everything lands on the same deal reference.

Do we need to integrate anything?

No. Email works on day one with a single sender whitelisted. API and webhook lanes exist for teams that want them, and we build around your stack, not the other way round.

What exactly arrives with a referral?

Business details, the funding requirement, contact details, the consent record and any documents already uploaded, all against one unique deal reference. Nothing arrives without the client having consented to the introduction.

Can we test the API before going live?

Yes. A test-deals sandbox is available at developers.capvant.com so your team can integrate and verify webhooks before any referral touches production.

Do decline reasons actually change what we receive?

Yes. A short reason on a decline sharpens our matching against your published criteria, so your lane sees fewer near-miss deals over subsequent referrals.

Is our agreement affected by which of your marketplace brands a deal arrives from?

No. One counterparty and one agreement cover every brand, so your sender, terms and commission structure stay the same whichever channel a deal originates on.

How quickly can we go live?

Most partners are live within two weeks of sharing a buy-box and preferred hand-off channel. Whitelisting a single sender is enough to start receiving referrals by email the same day.
